Current Problems of Philosophy and Sociology (category B) is a professional scientific journal, which publishes articles by scientists from Ukraine and abroad on current issues of philosophy, political science and sociology in Ukraine and in the European Union and the world.
Scientific journal "Actual problems of philosophy and sociology" was founded in 2014 by the National University "Odessa Law Academy".
The editorial board of the scientific journal "Actual Problems of Philosophy and Sociology" includes well-known and authoritative scientists – representatives of the national school of philosophy and sociology.
The scientific journal "Actual Problems of Philosophy and Sociology" publishes articles in Ukrainian and English.
The scientific journal "Actual Problems of Philosophy and Sociology" is published 6 times a year, its electronic version is posted on the official website of the publication, as well as on the website of the National Library of Ukraine named after V.I. Vernadsky.
The scientific journal "Actual Problems of Philosophy and Sociology" is intended for doctors of sciences, candidates of sciences, young scientists (graduate students, applicants), high school teachers, senior students and anyone interested in the achievements of Ukrainian philosophical, political and sociological science.
The National University "Odessa Law Academy" is the successor of the rich traditions of the Odessa Law School, the history of which dates back to 1847 (the existence of the Faculty of Law of the Richelieu Lyceum - the first higher educational institution in Odessa). In 1865, the Faculty of Law became part of the Imperial University of Novorossiysk. In 1997, when legal science and education in Odessa turned 150 years old, the Law Institute of Odessa State University was transformed into the Odessa State Law Academy. A year later, the university became a member of the Association of European Universities, and in 2000 the academy received the status of a national higher education institution. By the Decree of the President of Ukraine of September 2, 2010 № 893/2010 the Academy was reorganized into the National University "Odessa Law Academy".
